WHY SHOULD A DOG WEAR DESIGNER COUTURE DOG CLOTHING?
There are three reasons: Attention, Warmth, and Pride.
ATTENTION: No one knows better than an owner how much your pet loves attention. Cute T-shirts catches peoples eyes. They stop and pay attention to your small dog who loves it. They are friendlier when they get attention and they are happier pets. When you have your pet dressed up in Designer Couture Dog Clothing, and go for a walk, it is amazing how many people you meet and how many new friends you can make. Something as simple as a dog t-shirt gets attention. Also, if you really want attention, try a mink coat, or a mink laminated sweater.
WARMTH: Big and small pups get cold. That's why they like to lay in the sun and be outside on sunny days. That's why your puppy like to cuddle up next to you. Dog Clothes are designed for warmth, or show, or both.
PRIDE: An owner takes pride in showing off their pet. Just try dressing up yourself, and dress up your pet, and go for a stroll. You will feel much better and so will your dog. It's not just the exercise that you both get, but the feeling of pride and the attention you get will develop a friendlier personality in both of you.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DESIGNER, COUTURE, OR CASUAL DOG CLOTHING?
Designer Dog Clothing is all of the above, offering high fashion, one-of-a-kind or custom clothes for your pet. The difference between Couture and Casual Dog Clothing is often the type of fabric and design, with both considered as Designer Dog Clothing. Designer Couture Dog Clothing is made with expensive fabrics, such as organza, tulle, and has a formal flair such as we would dress for a formal occasion. The casual line is cotton and knit dog clothes.
The special couture collections of"Couture Dog Coature from Chien Coature," "Emma Rose Design," "Hedy Manon Dog Couture," and "Signature Couture Dog Clothing" are our "Luxury Le Doggie Boutique" Signature Dog Couture Collections. HOW TO JUDGE VALUE IN DOG JEWELRY:
Most of our dog jewelry is handmade to assure lasting quality in craftsmanship, design, and stones. We select quality stones such as Swarovski crystal and rhinestones. We have our own designer and jeweler who make sure that the quality of construction will last, and we use strong fastener on our hairclips that do not break easily. We strive to create unique designs in Dog Necklaces, Hairpins and Pendants. We are probably the top company in designing and creating fashionable Dog Jewelry with quality stones, unique styles, and quality workmanship. Our motto is to give value and quality in the same piece of jewelry.
BARKING IN THE RAIN
This year's wet-weather styles pay homage to the 1960s.
By Meghan E. Murphy
April showers bring May flowers. And May muck. And May mud.
Despite the refreshing spirit of spring, dog owners don't look forward to watching their best friends tiptoe through the tulips, especially when that means paw prints on the carpet.
Rainwear is one of the few truly practical pieces of clothing created for canines. From boots to coats, rainwear keeps skittish puppies dry and warm, and protects furniture from that dreaded wet dog smell.
This spring, designers predict that the 1960s will be in, including patterns with big polka dots and bright colors. And manufacturers will churn out more sizes because the next big thing in pet rainwear is the big dog.
FUNCTION OVER FASHION?
The functionality of rainwear doesn't preclude fashion, but designers and retailers have found that the most important aspect of rain gear is that it actually protects pets from precipitation.
Elizabeth Sands, of LuLu and Luigi in Hopkins, Minn., says her own dog is a testament to the need for effective rainwear. She gets her Maltese groomed regularly, but just one walk in the rain can make all the hard primping work for naught. She's also seen dogs that refuse to go out in the rain, and a coat can be just the right thing to coax them outside.
In the quest to provide owners with a way to keep pups dry, Sands carries rain gear that repels water instead of absorbing it.
"Customers like the slicker style that water drips right off of,"she says.
Jeff Merriam, an owner of Teacups and Toys in Birmingham, Mich., agrees. His customers look for a label that says waterproof, as opposed to water-resistant.
Neoprene, a synthetic rubber, is one of the best water-repellent fabrics out there, says Gail Silberberg, owner of Animal Wrappers in Sunrise, Fla. She uses in her rainwear designs because the fabric is also easy to clean and lighter than other options. Neoprene's ability to stretch also offers a better fit for dogs.
IN STYLE THIS SEASON
When it comes to style, designers are talking spring colors with simple designs this season.
While Silberberg couldn't reveal too much about the line she's planning this year, she did say that the 1960s are on her mind. So it seems that bright turquoise and yellows, polka dots and big daisies may be in the works for fashions coming out soon.
After a long hard winter in Minnesota, Sands says dog owners look forward to dressing their pooches up in bright colors. She usually sees designs that reflect the trends in kids clothing.
Designer Gloria Robakowski, president of Foletti Wear in New York City, says she looks toward human fashions for her styles.
"I concentrate on fashion that you would see in normal life, not so much the "woof woof" fashion world," she says.
Robakowski specifically mimics the sporty, skateboarder style that she sees in brands like Stassy. Her hoodies are also convenient because they fold away into a pouch, perfect for the New Yorker on the go.
While colors and patterns may vary each year, Sands says that the basic raincoat shapes sell the best and seem to never die.
"The classic styles keep coming back," Sands says.
SIZE ME UP
Cute outfits with lace and bows just haven't caught on with the large dog owners. But raincoats are becoming increasingly popular for functional reasons. Big dog owners are beginning to see the rationale behind keeping a dog dry and are therefore digging into their pockets to purchase the best water-resistant gear.
Despite his store moniker "Teacups and Toys," Merriam says he has a lot of large dogs in his shop. More and more of them are looking for rainwear.
The right kind of raincoat really depends on the dog. The border collie-type, with lots of hair to get musty and matted in the rain, doesn't need a fleece lining. But those English pointers and greyhounds aren't used to the cold and like to be bundled up in a soft, warm jacket.
Robakowski says most large dog owners do prefer the simpler styles and solid colors, because they look a bit clumsy otherwise.
Aside from the style and fabric, dog owners are also looking for a good fit on their dogs. While Merriam says his customers look for snug coats, Sands says her Midwestern shoppers tend to go a size larger.
Merriam says he's amazed each year at the advances in the functionality and fit of doggie rainwear, but the industry is still working on designing fits for every breed. While many companies have come a long way in offering coats in large sizes, there's still a lack of different proportions. Merriam has had a tough time stocking styles that will fit the English bulldog physique. He has faith though that designers listen to retailer feedback, and that the plus-size dogs will soon have raincoats to call their own.
Manufacturers like Silberberg are also seeing the demand for large sizes increase.
"It's the first year I've ever had this much large size," she says. "Every store now carries some but this year they're ordering it and reordering."
New York's Pet Fashion Week 2008 - Intelligent Design or Humans Gone Wild?
Fashionistas, buyers, models and the pet--obsessed stormed several floors of the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea on August 23 and August 24, 2008 for New York's Third AnnualPet Fashion Week. While the name may be misleading (the Week was really a Weekend) there were more awards, products, grooming and other demonstrations, professionals and stars of the pet business world packed into these two frantic days, than you could wag a tail at.
From the foot of the catwalk to the trade show floor, from industry professionals to the newest, trendy designers, a visit to Pets In The City will transport you on a whirlwind tour through the 'styles in the aisles' showcasing the most decadent pet products and services now on the market.
But it does "beg the question" is it all a tad too much? Does your dog or cat really need a dress embellished with genuine Swarovski Crystal; a hand-carved marble food dish or for wandering Fido, a $300.00 GPS to attach to their collar? We asked -- and got some candid opinions -- people just plain adore their pets!
Mario DiFante, a Rhode-Island based dog groomer, has been the organizer of the event, which was held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood last August. And as a culmination of the event, on the morning after, Mr. DiFante appeared on CBS's "Early Show" to announce the winners of a national student design contest for pet fashion. Young and old are now actively engaged
"It's something I've thought about for many years," said Mr. DiFante in a telephone interview. "There's a very large market for these kinds of services and it was time for a trade show that, along with a designer platform, would address the lifestyle of today's modern pet."
Today's modern pet is one pampered animal! Over all, The pet-care industry exceeds $38 billion and even in a smaller economy it is expected that Americans to spend $2.7 billion on services for their dogs, cats and other household pets this year, that according to the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association.
Indeed, pet owners now comprise 63 percent of the U.S. population and, according to the American Animal Medical Association, 83 percent of those owners go by "mom" or "dad" when defining their relationship with their dog.
Such pet love has launched a whole new industry devoted to lavishing luxury on your Bichon-Frise, from pet spas, doggy hotels, "pawdicures" and "facials" to 800-count sheets for Fido's plush bed.
Pet Fashion Week is aimed at the high-end segment of the market, Mr. DiFante said.
Is Pet Fashion Week just the latest manifestation of a trend toward pets as fashion accessories? After all, didn't Paris Hilton get rid of her tiny "teacup" Chihuahua Tinkerbell -- which she liked to carry around in her purse -- when it got too big? Absolutely not, said Mr. DiFante, himself the owner of a champion Portuguese water dog.
"We would never look at dogs or cats as an accessory," said Mr. DiFante. "We feel they're more the new baby of this millennium. Having a pet is a 15-year commitment. There are studies out there that show more and more people regard their pets as their children, and they treat them that way. There are folks who turn down $5 million condos because they don't allow pets."
"We all cherish our animal companions for their unconditional love and acceptance," he said. "They're more than pets; they are valued members of our families. But not all animals are fortunate enough to have a loving home, so this event is celebrating our love for our own pets by directly benefiting animal welfare groups."

Dog Tips! Starting out
From the start you should encourage your dog to use a specific area. Initial 'paper training' will only give you an extra lesson to teach them later. They may also develop a habit of peeing on any newspaper!
A good, healthy, regular diet means that your dog should need the look at roughly the same time each day, usually just after they have eaten. Remember your dog needs to urinate at shorter intervals.
